At the Washington, D.C. rally, Lin-Manuel Miranda delivered an a cappella version of “Dear Theodosia,” from his Broadway musical Hamilton, for the parents “who can’t sing lullabies to their kids.”

Miranda was joined in D.C. by Superstore star America Ferrera and singer Alicia Keys, who took the stage together to deliver emotional speeches.

Meanwhile, comic and actress Amy Schumer and Scandal‘s Kerry Washington were among the stars showing up in New York City.

In Los Angeles, singer John Legend — who attended the rally with his wife Chrissy Teigen and their newborn son, Miles — performed a new song, called “Preach.”

Laura Dern, who stars in Big Little Lies, also attended the Los Angeles rally, along with her “HBO family,” as did Overboard’s Eugenio Derbez and Jane the Virgin’s Jaime Camil.

Other celebrities attending various rallies included Zooey Deschanel, Ava DuVernay, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Natalie Portman, Selena Gomez, and Sia.

Meanwhile, Susan Sarandon was among roughly 575 people arrested in Washington, D.C. Thursday during a protest of President Donald Trump’s immigration policies.

“Arrested. Stay strong. Keep fighting. #WomenDisobey,” The 71-year-old actress wrote on Twitter.
